Avodah- Hebrew word. It means work, worship or service.

How interesting is it that the same word for Work is the same word for Worship and the same word for Service…?

Our work is worship! Our work is service! Service to GOD, service to humanity.

So Worship is bigger than the tears streaming down our faces while we sing and cast our crowns. Worship is doing what our hands have found to do and doing it well. Doing everything with our heart, doing everything EXCELLENTLY as our capacity permits. That is the worship required of us!

That is WORK!

So when we think “I’m going to work”, we should be thinking

“I’m going to worship”..

“I’m going to serve”
