I was a part of the @glamandfire conference last weekend and it was the theme for me- “If GOD be for you, don’t be against you”.

We’re quick to point fingers at other people when things go wrong, at the devil, at principalities and powers but sometimes it’s us. It’s our bad behavior that gives the access. Our pride, our lust, greed, dishonor, envy that cause the problems.

Balaam couldn’t curse the children of Israel because theLORD had blessed them and he said very clearly, “I cannot reverse it”. So what did Balak (the enemy king who had asked him to curse them) do? He sent my gender og to the camp of the Israelites and the Israelites had no guardrails in place to keep them away.

These women were on a mission. They were sent to make the men turn away from their covenant with GOD. They came with all sorts of FOOD, strange ideologies and of course their bodies. Long story short, the Israelites had to bear the consequences of their lack of self control. You can read the entire story from Numbers 22 to see how this played out.

Sometimes, dare I say MOST TIMES it’s not anybody else, it’s you. Start addressing all your vices. The one you’ve done is enough.

GOD IS FOR YOU, DON’T BE AGAINST YOU.
